รวมทั้งเกษตรกรซึ่งเป็นอาชีพที่แสดงถึงความมั่นคงยั่งยืน
ในการใช้ชีวิตอย่างชัดเจน นายชาตรี ก่อเกื้อ ผู้ใหญ่บ้าน
จำรุง หมู่ 7 ตำบลเนินฆ้อ อำเภอแกลง จังหวัดระยอง วัย
60 ปี ที่หลายคนเรียกว่า “ผู้ใหญ่ชาตรี” มุ่งมั่นแก้ปัญหา
ความยากจนในชุมชน ตามแนวคิดปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจ
พอเพียง และส่งเสริมให้ทุกคนเข้าใจหลักการ 3 ห่วง 2
เงื่อนไข ผลักดันการสานต่อ ต่อยอด พร้อมทั้งกลยุทธ์การ
แบ่งปันที่เป็นแก่นสำคัญ ทำให้ชุมชนสามารถอยู่ได้อย่าง
ยั่งยืนจนถึงทุกวันนี้

บ้านจำรุงเป็นหมู่บ้านต้นแบบการแนวรา
ครกิจพอเพียงของในหลวงรัชกาลที่ 9 มาปรับใช้ใ
ตั้งแต่ปี 2532 เรื่อยมาจนถึงปัจจุบันเป็นเวลากว่า
แล้วที่หมู่บ้านจำรุงสร้างปราชญ์ชาวบ้านกว่า 20 คนเป็น
พี่เลี้ยงเป็นครูเป็นผู้ถ่ายทอดวิชาและองค์ความรู้ด้านต่าง ๆ
ทั้งการปลูกพืชเศรษฐกิจ การใช้สมุนไพร ศิลปวัฒนธรรม
ช่วยสร้างอาชีพ สร้างรายได้แก่หมู่บ้านของตนเอง
เกิดความเข้มแข็ง ยืนด้วยลำแข้งของตัวเองมาโดยตลอด
จำเป็นต้องพึ่งพาการช่วยเหลือจากรัฐเพียงอย่างเดียว
ไปกว่านั้น ชุมชนแห่งนี้ยังแบ่งปันองค์ความรู้ไปสอบ
ต่อไป รวมทั้งผู้คนจากชุมชนต่างถิ่นที่สนใจเข้ามาเรียน
